Hi, I’m Nurse Kelly

I married my high school sweetheart, we have two kids, and while I now call Kalgoorlie home, I’m originally from Perth and grew up on the beach — the obsession absolutely still lives on.

I graduated as a Registered Nurse in 2010 and completed my Postgraduate Diploma in Midwifery in 2012. Throughout my midwifery career, I worked at a tertiary hospital in Perth, supporting some of the most vulnerable families and babies across a number of specialised areas. This experience deeply shaped my approach to care — compassionate, patient-led and grounded in trust.

My husband’s career brought us to Kalgoorlie in 2020 (no, he’s not in mining — so if you start talking FIFO rosters or drill rigs, I’ll be nodding politely with absolutely no clue). While here, the chaos (and camaraderie) of the Emergency Department became a definite career highlight.

My passion for skin comes from lived experience — after struggling with acne throughout my teens and early twenties, I became deeply invested in helping others feel confident in their own skin. This led me to further study in Cosmetic Nursing and Dermatology, and ultimately into the aesthetic industry in 2021 — a career I genuinely love.

Outside the clinic, I’m a full-time cheer mum, part-time pancreas to my gorgeous daughter who was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at five, and a regular at the basketball stadium and Auskick on the weekends. If you have a dog, I will ask to see photos. And if I’ve got my headphones in, there’s a 99% chance I’m listening to an unhinged true-crime podcast.
